1. Rule 0: No in-game rules

Hacked clients, x-ray, fly, griefing, stealing, lying, spawn killing, scamming in trades: all allowed. Admins don't referee, roll back or refund. Protect your own stuff.

  2. Rule 1: Don't attack the server

Crashing it, lag machines, exploits against the host, DDoS, or trying to get into the machine or admin accounts: ban. Lag-heavy builds may be removed even if you meant no harm.

  3. Rule 2: Mojang's standards apply

Trash talk and swearing are fine. Hate speech, extremist content, sexual content or solicitation, harassing a real person and real threats are not. Not in chat, signs, books, map art or builds.

  4. Rule 3: Real life is off limits

No doxxing, no real-world fraud, nothing illegal. South African law applies to us and to you.

How moderation works

We don't filter or read chat, and there's no chat bot. Admins act only on reports of rules 1 to 3: the content goes, and so does the player. Report to contact@0xa3.co.za or an admin on Discord.

The fine print

  • Chat and builds are unfiltered. Play at your own risk.
  • Microsoft can act on reported Minecraft chat. That's between you and Microsoft.
  • The whitelist is a privilege. Appeals: contact@0xa3.co.za.
  • Rules can change; this page is the one that counts.

Privacy, in short

  • We keep your Minecraft name and ID, your Discord ID if you link it, and when you accepted the rules. No real names, ages or phone numbers.
  • 0xA3 is a personal experiment by Arné Schreuder. Gameplay, chat and posts may be used for research; anything published is anonymised.
  • The full story: privacy notice. Questions: contact@0xa3.co.za.
